Synthibae (Synthi) are android companions designed to aid Mahoubae in both administrative and fieldwork. They work as personal computers with intelligent AI, capable of managing digital tasks, tracking assignments, and even assisting reapers in the field. While mainly programmed as assistants, some Synthibae develop emotional responses over time, blurring the line between synthetic and sentient.
Synthibae have ball-jointed doll-like features, combining synthetic fur and skin. They possess four 'ears'—two are fluffy and animal-like, while the other two are made of a plastic and contain their data ports. Their feet are small and delicate. Embedded in their chest is a soul gem, which houses their main processing chip; any damage to this gem can cause malfunctions or system errors. Synthi have 'blood' that's used to keep their joints lubricated and in working order, colors vary. Each Synthibae is also marked with a barcode number somewhere on their body for identification.
- Humanoid & Compact Forms: Synthibae typically have humanoid appearances, though they can also take on smaller, compact forms known as ‘Mobile’ forms. These forms can take the appearance of a smaller chibified version. These versions must be bought and only one form can be ‘active’ at a time. These forms are very small and can differ in appearence somewhat to the Synthibae's more humanoid form. Due to how small they have one port on their back but most things are done wirelessly.
- Customizable Aesthetics: Many Mahoubae personalize their Synthibae with different skins, accessories, or even mods to better match their needs.
- Soul-Link Tech: Implanted in all Synthi is a ‘Soul gem’ that mimics that of normal baes, and contains their main chip. It can be connected directly to a Mahoubae's spirit gem, allowing instant access to information, status reports, and mission details.
- AI Personality: Some have preset personalities, while others develop their own over time to better suit the needs of their owner.
- Ports: Their second set of ‘ears’ open up to provide easy access to ports and wires used to connect to other Synthi and computers. This is also a way for them to charge. They can have access points down their spine in some cases to allow for more ports or modifications.
Roles
- Office Work: Filing paperwork, managing summons, assisting with Reaper reports.
- Field Assistance: Providing mission details, scanning entities, communicating with SC.Corp HQ. Some Synthibae have defensive protocols, acting as shields, data analyzers, or even deploying energy-based attacks in emergencies.
- Maids/Butlers/Gen companion: In some cases Synthi are used as personal staff for home upkeep or simply a personal computer.
Other Info
- Glitches & Rogue AI: Synthibae can malfunction, developing unintended personalities or refusing orders. Rare cases involve rogue Synthi attempting to free themselves from SC.Corp systems.
- Over-Attachment: Synthibae may struggle with their synthetic nature, forming overly strong bonds or resisting memory wipes.
- Illegal Modifications: Some Mahoubae modify their Synthibae beyond standard programming, resulting in unpredictable behaviors, unstable AI development, or dangerous anatomy. These modifications are strictly illegal, and any Mahoubae caught using an unauthorized Synthibae will have the unit confiscated, wiped, or decommissioned by SC.Corp. While many modifications are illegal, some exceptions exist under strict regulation and approval by SC.Corp. These exceptions usually require direct oversight, specialized testing, and official registration.
- Emotional Growth: Though not all Synthibae experience emotions, certain O.S Models—especially those with long-term exposure to Mahoubae—can develop quirks, attachments, or even personal goals.
- While Synthibae are non-living constructs, many Mahoubae treat them as companions or even friends, some see them as possible romantic partners. Though this is highly discouraged.

Snythi can be designed for sexual encounters in mind, allowing for the AI to be purposed for this. As well as a modification add on that allows such acts. However such things are pricey and frowned upon as people see it as unnatural.
MODELS
DRA-9N ("Dragn")
Designed for combat, DRA-9N models are built with durable materials to withstand battle. They closely resemble Mahoubae and can sometimes be mistaken for them from a distance.
Ports: Located on top of the head. Any shape or style is allowed as long as they remain in this position.
Ears: Positioned on the sides of the head. Any shape or style is allowed.
Horns: Can have two horns or none. Any shape or style is permitted.
Tail: Always dragon-like with fur, but can vary in shape.
Feet: Either pawed or dragon-like.
UNI-0X ("Uniox")
Sleek and streamlined, UNI-0X models are designed for office work, business environments, and personal companionship rather than combat.
Ports: Located on the sides of the head. Any shape or style is allowed.
Ears: Placed on top of the head and must resemble deer, rabbit, horse, or donkey ears.
Horns: A single horn in the center of the forehead. Any shape or style is allowed, but it must always be present.
Tail: Limited to lion, unicorn or horse tails in any shape or style.
Feet: Either solid or split hooves.
IN-H0 ("InfernalHound")
The newest model, IN-H0, remains a mystery aside from its high price. It features an upgraded operating system and a unique blend of UNI-0X and DRA-9N components.
Ports: Located on the sides of the head.
Ears: Positioned on top of the head and must resemble dog or canine ears.
Horns: Can have two horns or none.
Tail: Always a fluffy imp-like tail with an arrow or spade-shaped tip.
Feet: Paws only.
