Good evening~ I know it’s been a while, longer than it should have been, but after a few hiccups we’re finally here with our biggest update yet. There’s a lot in this one, so please stick with me while we go through everything.

Changelogs

Please note this is not everything.

• Overhauled CSS. We updated colors, reworked the header and navbar, centered elements, and aimed for a cleaner overall look. There are still some remnants of the old site colors hiding around. Until I can track them all down, they may show up as a darker purple.
• Updated layouts for both profiles and the dashboard. The dashboard received a major upgrade with additional details, so most information should now be in one place and feel more lore-friendly. Profiles have also been adjusted to better match the setting and trimmed down to focus on what feels important.
• The main About page (logged out view) has been updated to fix minor issues and better match the new theme.
• Mahoubae has been moved to a dedicated Species page.
• Added a full Species page covering all Stynexis species, including the introduction of Kumogami. All species pages have been updated with adjusted lore and improved layout.
• Kumogami traits have been implemented. A guide for submitting existing Kumogami can be found at the end of this post.
• Character pages now display held items (up to 8 from each category).

Minor Changes

• Raise is gradually being renamed to Rise. There are still a few instances left, but they’re being phased out.
• AO3 has been removed from social links. I may reintroduce or relocate these later, but for now the remaining links will stay as they are.
• Various small wording updates across the site.
• Minor navbar adjustments as part of the ongoing rebrand.
• Small layout tweaks across miscellaneous pages.
• Credits now link directly to each person’s page.
• The site banner has been updated to reflect the current season.

Notes

Not everything is perfect.

This is my first real dive into coding, and I’m aware that some things are probably more complicated than they need to be. Try not to judge me too harshly, I will absolutely do that myself later.

At some point, I plan to bring someone in to clean things up and handle larger issues properly. For now, everything should be functional. I’ll continue making small adjustments over time, so expect minor changes here and there.

KNOWN ISSUES

• Assignments leads no-where right now. on the dasboard as I work on fixxing up the page for it. 
• There are still some placeholder things around the site and will be removed/updated in the next update this week.
• I am now seeing the bug / error of images not resizing when using tablet/mobile mode I will work on fixing this by next update and I apologize for the inconvenience

Currency Rework

Candy (CDY), Candy Cane (CDYC), and Sandollar (SD) are being removed.

You can turn them in via a claim ( https://mahoubae.com/claims ) for Divine Credit. These will be removed in a few weeks, so please make sure to submit them before then or they will be lost.

Small FAQ

Why did the site CSS/HTML take so long?
To be fully transparent, I was ghosted by multiple people I reached out to for help. One person handling backend work has been gone for about a year now. It sucks, but instead of waiting any longer, I decided to take things into my own hands.

Will this come with other changes or bug fixes?
Yes. I’ve already fixed several 500 errors and restored some missing pages. I’m not a perfect replacement for a proper dev, but until I can hire someone, I’ll keep things running as best I can.

I can’t see any changes / something looks off.
Try a hard refresh or wait up to 24 hours for mobile cache to update. If something still looks wrong, please submit a ticket. Do not post bug reports in Discord questions/suggestions, this helps keep everything organized.

What does this mean for Atgra?
I’ll be reworking layouts and CSS there as well, with the goal of moving it out of soft beta sooner rather than later.

How to Submit Your Kumogami

Just like with Atgra, please submit a claim:

• If you know their rank, include it. If not, leave it blank and one will be assigned.

• A direct link to the unwatermarked image (not Discord) Please use imagur/filegarden etc..
• Toyhouse link for proof of ownership. 

(Unwatermarked means no Toyhou.se-style watermarks, as we apply our own WM overlapping can make designs difficult to read.)
